The winner of this category will be from advertising or design, from the creative or account management sides.

You maybe from an integrated/BTL/ATL agency, on or off line: you could be a creative director, art director, be part of a creative team, from conceptual to creative art worker (any level), a copywriter or similar, it doesn’t really matter, so long as you have displayed outstanding creative ability at pitch stage or execution. They could also be an account handler (any level) who has helped secure/win/deliver a substantial piece of business.

Or maybe you are the skills that lie behind the brand from a design perspective (traditional or digital) whether it be strategy, creative or account management.  You may work in a branding consultancy, a design group or in-house. You might be a creative director, a senior, mid-weight or junior designer, you might be an artworker or an account manager, project manager or account director. You might be a branding specialist, or work in the field of corporate identity, corporate literature, packaging, retail, publishing or exhibitions. 

This category has been created to showcase the, often unsung, skills that lie behind a brand from a creative or account management perspective (traditional or digital) whether it be strategy, creative or account management. 

The winner will be fantastic with clients, have a great attention to detail and be able to get complex campaigns completed on time and within budget. 

The judges will be looking for someone who has shown they can think outside the box and generally push boundaries. Their passion and innovation might have been so strong that they managed to change the long-held perceptions of the client. 

These Awards aim to showcase some of the outstanding work produced by freelance consultants, therefore the primary measure of who should be voted a winner is ‘who added the most value to their client?’    

The winner of Advertising & Design (Creative and Account Management) will be a successful freelancer because they have demonstrated adaptability, flexibility, insight, customer focus and the commitment to add real value to their clients business.
